InjectJS is a Chrome extension and web dashboard that lets users inject custom JavaScript into websites they visit. This policy explains what data we do and do not collect, and how we handle any information related to your use of InjectJS.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from the extension.
All scripts and preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage.
The extension does not send data to our servers or any third-party services.
We do not collect browsing history, page content, or script outputs.
Our dashboard may collect standard analytics data, including:
Page views
Device/browser information
Interaction events (e.g., button clicks)
The following tools are used:
Google Analytics
Google Tag Manager
Vercel Analytics
These services may use cookies or similar technologies to gather anonymized usage data.
The following third-party services are used by the InjectJS dashboard only:
Google Analytics & Tag Manager – for understanding user interaction
Vercel – for hosting and performance metrics
We do not share your information with third parties beyond what these services collect by default.
InjectJS is available to users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
InjectJS does not require login or account creation. All configuration is stored locally and remains under your control.
Since the extension stores everything locally, we retain nothing. The dashboard retains only anonymous analytics data collected by the services listed above.
We take reasonable steps to ensure the dashboard and extension are secure, but as with all software, 100% security cannot be guaranteed. We do not handle or store sensitive information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date.
